We Desi Band is a premium DJ Based Band in India, bringing together the energy of a live band, the versatility of a professional DJ and the excitement of interactive stage entertainment. Designed especially for modern weddings, Sangeet nights, cocktail parties and luxury celebrations, We Desi Band creates an experience that keeps the entire audience engaged and on the dance floor.
What makes a DJ Based Band different is the combination of live vocals, rap, DJing, percussion, Dhol and high-energy performance. Instead of relying on a traditional band setup alone, the DJ controls the musical flow while live performers add vocals, rhythm, interaction and personality to every moment.
At We Desi Band, the show is not simply about performing songs. It is about understanding the crowd, building energy and creating an atmosphere where every guest feels involved. From Bollywood and Punjabi hits to commercial chartbusters and party anthems, the performance can be shaped around the audience and the celebration.
A Wedding DJ Band is an ideal choice for couples looking for something more dynamic than a conventional DJ or live band. We Desi Band combines both worlds—giving you the impact of live performance with the sound, variety and flexibility of a DJ.
Our formats can feature DJ, live vocalist, rapper, percussionist, Dhol player and additional musicians or performers, depending on the event requirements. This makes the concept suitable for intimate cocktail evenings as well as large-scale destination weddings and luxury celebrations.
The foundation of the experience is simple: DJ + Live Performance + Crowd Interaction = Unforgettable Energy.
Whether it is a Sangeet, cocktail night, wedding after-party or grand celebration, We Desi Band transforms the venue into a high-energy musical experience where guests are not just watching the show—they become part of it.
A DJ Based Band offers the best of both worlds. The DJ provides continuous musical energy and a wide range of songs, while live artists bring authenticity, spontaneity and stage presence. The result is a seamless entertainment experience that can move effortlessly from live singing to rap, from Dhol beats to Bollywood anthems and from sophisticated lounge energy to a full-fledged dance-floor party.
We Desi Band is not just a DJ. Not just a live band. It is a complete entertainment concept.
Led by RJ Rizvi & DJ Anyme, We Desi Band is built for celebrations that demand innovation, energy and class.
We don’t just perform. We create an experience.
Over 500 events later, we’ve performed at grand palace weddings in Rajasthan, rooftop sangeets in Delhi, and intimate family celebrations across India. Every performance is different. Every setlist is crafted for the people in the room. And every night ends the same way — with guests who don’t want to leave.
We blend the warmth of live instruments with the percussion, Dhol, a professional DJ setup, creating a sound that’s uniquely ours. Bollywood Classical, Punjabi anthems, Sufi melodies, and the latest chart-toppers — we play it all, and we play it live.
