It started in 2018 in a small rehearsal room in Delhi. Two friends with a shared obsession: Bollywood music, live energy, and the magic of a packed dance floor. We Desi Band was born not from a business plan, but from a simple question: why can’t a wedding feel like the best concert of your life ?
Over 500 events later, we’ve performed at grand palace weddings in Rajasthan, rooftop sangeets in Delhi, and intimate family celebrations across India. Every performance is different. Every setlist is crafted for the people in the room. And every night ends the same way — with guests who don’t want to leave.
We blend the warmth of live instruments with the percussion, Dhol, a professional DJ setup, creating a sound that’s uniquely ours. Bollywood Classical, Punjabi anthems, Sufi melodies, and the latest chart-toppers — we play it all, and we play it live.
